This directory contains geneid predictons obtained from the Drosophila Ensembl 4.3 (Fly Genome assembly v3; March 7th, 2002)

The geneid predictions have been output in three formats:

-geneid

-gff

-prot (amino acid sequences of the predicted proteins)


Hence, the 3 files in this directory have been named:

Homo_sapiens.latestgp.masked.fa.gff

Homo_sapiens.latestgp.masked.fa.geneid

Homo_sapiens.latestgp.masked.fa.prot

,according to the output format.


Further information on the can be found on two report files corresponding to the gff and geneid output files.

These files contain information concerning the actual prediction process, and it includes the total number of contigs constituting these assembly for which predictions were obtained
