This directory contains geneid predictions obtained from the masked goldenPath Cow genome assembly from Sept. 2004 (bosTau1):

The geneid predictions have been output in five formats for all of the 449,727 scaffolds that make up the assembly:

-geneid

-gff

-gtf

-prot (amino acid sequences of the predicted proteins)

-cds  (CDS's of all predicted sequences)

Predictions for all scaffolds are stored in 1 file of each type:

 bosTau1.gff

 bosTau1.geneid

 bosTau1.prot

 bosTau1.cds

 bosTau1.gtf

,according to the output format.
